THIS UNIQUE PICTURE presented itself when I saw this shiny truck departing the Poplar Creek Golf Course Club after making a delivery.  I first noticed the bright color and then the Jack Daniel's whiskey label emblazened on its side. Upon closer inspection there's a friendly reminder to drink responsibly.  Drinking and driving don't mix, and I'm a little uneasy about advertising alcohol on a traveling vehicle.  However...

I've been around long enough to recall the popular 1960's tune by Ray Charles titled "Hit the Road Jack" with amusing lyrics about a woman and her worthless man, accompanied by a foot-tapping beat.  The song became number one on the Billboard record charts and received a Grammy as the year's best Rhythm & Blues recording.  And  now, I can't get the beat - and the image - out of my head!

"Hit the road Jack and don't you come back
No more, no more, no more, no more...
Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back no more!"
