Those who can make their home far from the hustle and bustle of urban life are very fortunate. We just returned from the Sierras and a week of vacationing, and there we rediscovered little settlements that are living the "pioneer life" in spite of the demands of these modern times. Their daily routine is reduced to the basic needs like food, hardware, laundry, supplies, and mail pickup. And the town's big event is the Labor Day Dance. Whoopee!
You do remember driving to the post office to get your mail, don't you?
