While tourists believe we have sunny skies and warm temperatures all year long, it's often foggy during the winter with highs rarely above 70 degrees. Sandwiched between an occasional winter storm we often have spectacular weather and moderate temperatures that encourage us to enjoy a full day enjoying the outdoors.
Not long ago we had such a pleasant spell and spent the entire entire day sailing the north bay, well past sunset. The sun was bright with gentle breezes and we stayed out long enough to experience the sun setting over the San Francisco skyline. Simply awesome!
Moreover, the adventure was punctuated by equally stunning views of Jack London Square and Oakland's skyline illuminating the evening sky and captured by the harbor waters -- beautiful bookends to a spectacular day!
